Gosh... its been a while....

I decided that I needed to post something on my blog because it has been since October since I put anything on here. I blame that on the fact that Miss Shiloh began walking at precisely at that time....coincidence, I think not! So today is the day and instead of showering I will write! Still plan to shower though!!

I have been quite reflective lately as I am sure many people are at the beginning of a new year and in this case, a new decade. I have been thinking back over the past 10 years and remembering all that had happened to me. Let me share some things.

At the beginning of the last decade I was a single mom to a 6 month old baby boy who lit up my world. Since then I met and married my darling husband. I moved from the only place that I had ever called home... big New Deal! We purchased our 1st and 2nd homes and moved a total of 4 times. I went through some MAJOR medical stuff in order to bring 2 new lives into our family. Eric and I went through many ups and downs with his health and spent many days/nights in a hospital. We have been through 8 tax seasons and are gearing up for #9!! Sent Zayne off to school, celebrated numerous birthdays, holidays, and attended numerous sporting events. There have been so many ups and downs and through it all the one thing I can say is that I am so blessed! Even with all the hard things, and there were many. For some reason, God has shown me His favor time and time again and for that I am truly amazed and grateful.

Just to help put hing into perspective, at the end of another decade Zayne will be a college sophomore at 20. Zeke will be 14, and Shiloh will be 10. Eric and I will be entering decade #4 on this earth. Those are the things I KNOW will happen but there many, many that I do not. I hope and pray that they are even better than I can imagine!
