Quotable Quotes

I have decided that I since I hear so many funny things come out of my kids mouths that I need to document them so that I can remember them when I am old. Actually, Mimi has been telling me since Zayne started talking to write a book about all the things he says. So anytime you see a post titled "Quotable Quotes" you will know that one of my kids has made a comment that needed to be documented! Ha ha!! Some recent favorites......

Zeke was in the my bath tub and while he was contained, I decided to clean my room up. He kept saying, "Mom, take me out!" Finally after repeated requests, he said, "Get me out of here before I melt!" He was so serious when he said it and that is what made it so funny.

Zeke told me the other day, "I like to not wear clothes and just live in the cold."

The other night, again Zeke was in the tub, except Zayne was also in my bathroom combing his hair or something. Zeke was washing himself off with the soap. He had the bar of soap and was rubbing it on his arms and tummy, and then face. Finally he took the soap and gave his hiney a good scrub with it. Zayne noticed this and said, "Now THAT is why I don't eat soap!" I busted out laughing because he was so serious when he said it. He realized a few seconds later how funny it sounded and added, "....well that and because it tastes bad." I'm like, yeah Zayne, that is a good reason not to eat soap.....because Zeke rubbed it all over his behind..... since we so frequently consume soap that hasn't been rubbed all over a three year olds booty!! Ahhh...so funny!
