8 Months

I can't believe that Miss Shiloh is already 8 months! If you do the math that means that in 4 months she will be a year old...and then I will cry. She is really coming into her personality and is different from the boys in a lot of ways. She cannot sit still and needs to have something in her hand to study and play with. When we are up walking around while holding her, she will see something she wants to investigate and immediately throw all of her weight in that direction. Of course, we then go that way until we find what it is she wants. I know that all babies are inquisitive but Shiloh seems to be more so than the boys were. I will go ahead and say the she is crawling although not at a fast pace, but she gets where she wants to go! She is already trying to figure out how to stand by doing the mowgli stance.... you know with hands on the ground and bottom straight up in the air. She can feed herself puffs and loves, loves them and is getting good at using sippers. She has 4 teeth now, 2 up top, 2 on bottom. Eric had to lower her crib mattress because she can sit up from laying down now and try to pull herself up on the bars. Hmmmm.... I wonder if she will be in her crib as long as Zeke or if we will have to move her in a big bed sooner like we did with Zayne?? Sleep is not her favorite thing and she fights it whenever she can. Unlike her brothers who I could usually coax into climbing in bed with me and snuggling and sleeping a little more, when she wakes up she wants to get up out of bed. There is no lounging in bed and she will tell you all about it until you get up! She does this by babbling loudly, pulling my hair, smacking me, and showing general discord until we are up! Sometimes that is what it takes to get me out of bed in the morning and she knows it! ha ha She is a good baby and always happy. We are enjoying her to pieces and trying to gear up for complete mobility...... I anticipate lots of chasing her around!!
