Swimming 101

Zeke took swimming lessons for the first time a couple of weeks ago. He did great! Although, he is more cautious about things than Zayne was so it took a little bit of warming up to. At the beginning of the session, he would not go under water at all and was a little afraid to leave the steps. He is so used to his alligator float. By the end he was jumping in, going under and paddling pretty good. He made a huge improvement and had a great time. He loved going everyday and I think it had a lot to do with the fact that this was just for him. Not Zayne or Shiloh, just Zeke. Everyday he would remind Zayne that HE had swimming lessons. Ha! He has been to so many sporting events for Zayne that it was his turn to have everybody watch him. Must be a middle child thing..... ha ha.

Miss Sally was his instructor and she was a tough old bird. She did not put up with anyone's flack. I guess you have to be strict when you have a bunch of kids in a pool that don't know how to swim. But Zeke behaved as always and even grew to enjoy her. Talk about a tan, Miss Sally was dark as molasses.....guess she's been at this a while.
