4 Months Old

Shiloh turned 4 months today and had a scheduled visit to the doctor for a check up and shots. Yuk!! She weighs in at 15lbs.3oz. and is 24 inches long. She screamed and cried practically the entire time we were there, even before she got her shots. She did not want the nurse or doctor to look at her or touch her period. Reminds me a lot of how her big brother Zeke did at doctor visits. She is now reaching and grabbing at things and loves, loves, loves chewing on her hands and fingers. She is really drooling a lot and I am wondering if teething is around the corner. She is talking more and more and is learning to use her voice. Bath time has now become a favorite time of the day unless she is super tired then she doesn't like anything. I am so happy to report that she is falling into a somewhat predictable nap schedule and while that puts kinks in our plans sometimes she is so much happier when she is well rested. Happy baby = happy mommy!! She is learning to put herself to sleep at night but still needs a little practice in that area. Shiloh is growing so fast and I am trying to soak up every minute of this precious time.
