Shiloh is usually asleep when Zayne bathes and his bathroom is very close to her room. Since I do not want her to be awakened by all the noise I have just let him shower in our bathroom for last few weeks. Tonight after he finished his shower he came downstairs to say goodnight and I did the sniff test on him. If you are not familiar with the sniff test it is a test performed when I question if soap and shampoo have actually been applied to the body. Let me just say that Zayne has not always passed the test which is the reason we have it in the first place! So tonight when I sniffed the his head I did not smell the fruity smell of shampoo. I looked at him with "that" look that only a mother can give. He said, "What Mom, I used that stuff that has those little thingies in it....I promise." I realized that he was talking about my facial cleanser with micro beads! I told him what he used and he said, " Aww man, so I have to take another shower?" I told him no it was fine and just go ahead and go on to bed. Ha ha ha !
I, on the other hand, get to shower when ever time is available. So I usually bathe at different times every day just depending on what is going on. Tonight my time to bathe was around 10pm. I decided to take a bath tonight. I was tired and a hot bath just sounded relaxing. So I draw up the bath and I get in and I am in for about 5 minutes when I hear Zeke with his fake cry. The one he uses when he needs something and is not actually upset. So I get out of my nice, warm bath to see what the issue is. I open the door and Zeke tells me, "Mom, I need a guy." He has to take a guy to sleep with each and every night and it is always a particular character. He told me he wanted his stranger, which I have come to learn means Pow.er.Ran.ger. Of course he wanted that one, it is all the way downstairs instead of in this basket right here. So I head downstairs dripping wet and get him. Ahh.... oh well at least I got a bath period!! I just love these kids, they are so funny!
